Luciano Cruz is part of our Corporate Practice Group. He specializes in commercial and financial transactions, operations on capital markets, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions and the development and construction of projects.
Area of practice: Initial public offers of corporations in stock exchanges, public tender offers both in Chile and in the US, antitrust, engineering, construction and procurement contracts (EPC) of electric power generation plants, transmission lines and LNG regasification terminals; power purchase agreements (PPA); project development contracts.
Experience: Founding partner of Asociación Chilena de Derecho y Regulación de Energía (ADEREN); Cariola Diez Pérez-Cotapos (2001-2005); Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, New York (2006-2007). Honored by Chile’s Ministry of Justice for his outstanding professional practice (2001).
Academic experience: Professor of Civil Law and Theory of Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Law.
